cCc: Frolicsome Family Vacations of Summer

June and July were equally electrifying summer months full of laughter, love, and some truly unforgettable memories with family. Being afforded and embracing the opportunity to spend quality time with the people that matter most in our lives was such a blessing. Our travel groove began with a 14 hour drive up to Vail, Colorado followed by stops in Denver, Fort Collins, and Red Feather Lakes. Along that journey we visited my grandma (Arlene) and her sister (Eleanor), continuing along for the Rolling Family Reunion at Fox Acres where we indulged in the great outdoors and the fresh mountain air of Colorado. Among our activities were fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, water balloon catapulting across the lake, cooking delicious meals together, and sharing some serious "laugh til your face turns red and your stomach hurts" laughs with those that braved the board game table each night. After we safely returned home with 40 total hours of drive time and over 2100 miles logged we gracefully proceeded to Sanger, Texas for the Behrens Family Reunion. We shared most of our memories pool side as we soaked in the summer rays, played horseshoes and washers, and went horseback riding. Throughout our travels we were overjoyed to share with the family our news that a lil' one will be joining us New Years Day!
