It's a cold winters night of the first day in 2021 and can you believe we actually all survived it just fine! No, I'm not mocking those who have been effected by COVID19 because it IS real and it can be scary, but I am calling to action people of faith. All we have to do is trust in the Lord with all our being, that's all He asks of us. We have nothing to fear except God himself. Regardless of what your 2020 looked like, I hope some time was spent getting to know the One who knows us best. We continue to celebrate that He is the star of wonder and the star of night this Christmas after celebrating Our Lady last night with a new year dawning. Now that we have prepared the way for the King, we must continue to call to mind how He first loved us and approach each day with gratitude and love, finding our own Calcutta!
Our kids manage to keep us busy in every season of life. Although the last few months have been quite a blurr, still a blessing none the less. We were able to squeeze in our annual Dallas summer trip, lots of water park days, a few beach days, hiking, fishing, a season of golf, complete some major home renovations to boot, and then back to Dallas for Thanksgiving. I'm happy that life has seasons and opportunities that nourish our soul and allow new beginnings. We are given ways to recreate and better ourselves. While we focused on the kids and the house towards the end of the year, I'm looking forward to a bout of self care spiritually and physically going into the New Year. Here are a few pictures of the precious family time we were blessed with in 2020. See below or click HERE for more ...
