Dog Days of Summer

Hey gang ... not much to report on here although it is probably worth it to mention we are safe and dry after Hurricane Harvey!  It got a little sketchy for a few days so we spent two nights on the second floor of our neighbors keeping an eye on the water levels.  A few roof leaks later and the sun is shining. God is good and we are blessed.  The summer didn't go by as quickly as anticipated, not because we didn't keep busy with swimming, a trip to Magnolia and Dallas, visiting friends with new babies, vacation bible school, morning workouts and playdates, birthday parties, fishing (Dublyn caught her first fish), ect ... but mainly because Chad has been putting in 80+ hours of work a week.  They are in the final phases of turning over the Catalyst project downtown which means I am counting down the days until we have a husband and father again!!!  A new season is here which means we are moving on to Tball and Catechesis.  We have a cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel planned for November so it's likely I'll catch up with another post on the flip side of that.  Love y'all.
