We made it to the beautiful, raved about, wine country! It was all we expected and more. From the views of the luscious vineyards on the hillside, the redwoods and sequoias, the beautiful wedding venue, the biking and picnicking, to the wine tasting, it was breathtaking. Our hotel, Bel Abri, was fabulous too. Our highly recommended winery tours and tastings included Hess, Quintessa, & Ehlers. We missed out on some others that we would love to try in the future, including Dutch Henry, Silver Oak, Rombauer, Sunce, and Opas One. On the way to Napa, we took the scenic route through San Francisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, Fishermans Dwarf, and Lombard Street. On the way back to Sacramento to catch our flight we drove up through Steele Canyon to spend some time on Lake Berryessa. It was overall a wonderful trip! We are blessed and grateful to have had my sister and mom watch the boys. They loved every second of being with their cousins and can't wait to go back to visit Dallas next weekend for some more fun.
