Technology issues ...

Dang it gang … I've been struggling to get pictures off my phone and onto the computer this past month SO I lost a bunch of things I was wanting to share.  It's frustrating to say the least BUT the take away from October and November is that family time is priceless and I'm grateful for all of God's graces abundantly flowing as we take time to rest in Him.

We spent a well needed and restful Thanksgiving in Dallas.  It refueled our hearts to be with family and the kids had the best time with their cousins.  It was the push we needed to make it through the next few weeks as we anxiously await our next blessing!  Since I lost almost all the pictures from October and the best videos from November of Chad dancing to Just Dance on the Wii (which I rejoiced in watching) … a precious picture and video of the kids at Thanksgiving will suffice.

Sizzling through September ....

Yes, it's still BLAZING hot outside … but we are trucking through and putting soccer games and little miss Dublyn's 3rd Birthday in the books.  We are hoping the Fall weather will make it's way to us and start cooling us down before long.

And just like that … she's 3

July and August Happenings

Just finishing up the summer and getting into a new school, sport, church routine!  It's also the most wonderful time of the year = Aggie Football Season is here.  Below are a few pictures from July and August with a trip to Surf Side and other stops around town.

Could You Be Loved

"Could you be loved" by Bob Marley has officially become our family cruise theme song!  It seems like every year we travel to a tropical location, it's a hit.  Not only is it a great song, it never gets old.  I swear resorts and cruises have it on repeat but my dancing feet just keep moving.

Although May was wonderfully packed with weekends away on travel and a few health set backs, June stepped up to the plate and has my heart full.  From blueberry picking at the local farm, a round of golf with some new friends, celebrating Pentecost (the birthday of the Catholic church), a trip to the BMX bike racing track with the boys, our first Rolling family cruise to Cozumel, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman, and Wrig losing his 2 front teeth, it was a huge success.  We didn't skip a beat and kept trucking along with a smile and grateful hearts.  How could you not enjoy being with family!!

I know I use this phrase often but it's so true … words can't do justice SO click HERE for more pictures or scroll to see my favorites.

Yep, I am "THAT" mom ...

I have to laugh off the past two months because it has been CHAOS, and not a calm chaos!  Although it has had more good than bad events, you'd have to be crazy to overlook the "bad." About 7 weeks ago, I suffered a major concussion.  You have to laugh at the story behind it ….  here I am thinking and feeling like a badass, supermom, who is still at my prime collegiate athletic abilities and I start hauling ass after my son Bryce at the playground.  I scaled up a measly 3 foot rock wall only to completely miss seeing the bar right above my head.  OUCH!  Yes, I completely blacked out and it was embarrassing to say the least. An emergency room was in my future the next day for a CAT scan to make sure I didn't have any bleeding on my brain!!  You can't make this up.  I learned a few lessons:

1. I'm almost 40 😂😂 and shouldn't try to live out my childhood days.  Leave the past in the past.
2. Recovery stinks the older you get.  It's been almost 2 months and I am still having to see the neurologist because I'm dizzy and nauseous.
3. I taught my kids very quickly how to call daddy and 911 in case of emergency

Moving along to present day PNEUMONIA.  Yep, the allergy season hit Houston so hard.  My body just couldn't fight it.  Here I am on an antibiotic on top of concussion recovery.

Amidst all of this, I have still managed to have a packed and enjoyable schedule.  A trip to College Station with the kiddos for some Aggie Baseball and to visit my girls Aspyn and Avyn, a work trip to Mexico to review resorts for wedding locations, kicked butt in our saltwater fishing tournament down in Rockport, etc.  Just check out the pictures, they paint a thousand MORE words.

While I'm at it, I have to say that I have mastered the art of embarrassing my children in such an awesome way!!  Yep, I am going to be THAT parent.  That parent who screams my kids name across the gym to get him to see me like a Metallica fan from the 1980's ❤.  Yah, that was the shameless thing I did at my sons kindergarten graduation yesterday.  "I want my kids to know!" I kept thinking.  I am my children's number one fan.  I want them to know always how incredible they are, how hard working they are, that they are loved, and supported, and beautiful inside and out, that they have great ideas, they make me happy, they are worth it, and they are enough in His eyes and mine.  I want them to know that I am honored to be inspired by them.  I'll be cheering for them and rooting them on until the day I die, at the top of my lungs, shamelessly every second of their lives.  Just check out Wrig's cheezy smile …

Enough rambling.  It's late and I need to rest my brain, literally 😂 Peace out and click HERE for more pics!

Alas ...

2019 was off to no slow start!  We have cruised through to April having celebrated Chad's big 4-0, road trip to hike and camp the Ozarks in Arkansas and visit Branson, Houston Auto Show, Houston Rodeo, and the beginning of Tball season.  Now we are into the Lenten Season and can't wait to celebrate the rising of Our King (and Bryce's Birthday) on Easter.  Here are some pictures for you to enjoy and also a link to more
