We're here ... we made the move to Katy, Texas where we will seemingly be until Chad's retirement. It's bittersweet. We have been blessed with opportunities to live in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, the city lights of Dallas, the culturally rich Germany, and the busy streets of Houston, to finally hanging our hats and planting our family roots in Katy, Texas. Bittersweet I say because while Chad and I will always have a love, passion, appreciation, and a future involved with travel and were grateful for the opportunities given to us, we are so thrilled to belong to a great community here in Katy. While we are still in a temporary living situation, I'm resting assured that we will soon have a house we can call a home, MY first home, and OUR first home. I can smell it it's so close! I'm most excited because I can finally put some of my lifelong design ideas to work and do some custom organizing.
In addition to the excitement of moving, I'm pleased to say I've officially launched my Personal Organizing Company, Crafting Lifestyles. We are new parishoners at St Bartholomew's in Old Town Katy. It is such a loving and wonderful community and we are happy to add new friends to our Catholic family. They have a wonderful and welcoming mom's group called "Blessed To Be Moms" that I have had the opportunity to spend time with in playgroups and prayer. I am excited to get to know these inspiring ladies and share in our faith walk.
We managed to have a few moments of down time this month to soak up some time together as a family. We enjoyed a weekend trip to College Station for some good ole' Aggie Baseball, escaped for a date night evening for the Meuhr's Wedding while our great friend Robin so graciously watched Wrig, and managed another trip out to Lampasas for a work weekend and some golf.
