Mardi Gras in the Big Easy
Here's to an awesome Mardi Gras weekend in the Big Easy with The Muehr's!
Our pad on Dauphine in Marigny was filled with artistic appeal and had such a sense of warmth about it. Not only was it really close to Frenchman Street where we were able to catch some great jazz at DBA, it wasn't far from the French Quarter where we enjoyed beignets at Cafe Du Monde, gambling at Harrah's, shopping in the French Market, and of course our fair share of bars on (and off) Bourbon Street. Not to forget, endulging in the deep rooted culture at the Krewe of Cork parade next to Pierre Maspero's where we enjoyed fabulous cajun style cookin' and unbelievable bloody mary's! Of course we can't fail to mention one of the greatest things about New Orleans and that's of course having the freedom to enjoy a leisurely stroll with a frosty beverage at hand, anytime, anyplace! On the trolly ride through Uptown we were able to see some of the amazing architecture New Orleans has to offer. It was overall a great experience and we are blessed to have been able to share the laughter and joy with Layton & Jenny. Thank you both for your amazing friendship. Here's to y'all ....
