For those who haven't had a chance to look at our website it is www.coletteandchad91011.weddingmapper.com .... although our website offers quite a bit of insight into "us", I can't say enough about my love for my amazing fiance. With that being said, I am feeling compelled to sing his praises ....
Filled with a realm of emotions, mostly ecstatic and eager to marry my best friend, I wanted to share my most recent feelings of peacefulness and love. Day in and day out Chad's love amazes me. His intentions are pure and without fail he acts out of love. His strong will and desire to be an honest and loving disciple of the Lord are feverish. There is something about his voice, his words, his prayers that just let me be and let me rest in love. Calming my heart and giving me clarity when I need it, Chad is there. I am so blessed and consider myself a lucky gal!
Chad's resounding prayer that made my heart smile this morning:
"Lord, please calm my darlin's heart ... please continue to help us grow in You, with You, and for You. Let us continue the blessing of learning each other so we will be best aligned to serve You in a true harmonious marriage. Help us to see that the choppy waters we encounter are only a small portion on the long calmly flowing river you gave us to float on called LIFE. Lord, we love you. We open our ears and our hearts to you. Help us align our thoughts with our hearts which you have filled with your wonderous love. Thank you for our many blessings"
Thank you Lord for the gift of Chad. Thank you for his example and for his love. Your love shines through him in all that he does and I can't help but smile and be in awe of your marvelous ways. Mother Theresa once said "Joy is the surest sign of God's presence in the soul." Lord, light up our hearts. Fill us with the Holy Spirit and be our guide. We are forever grateful for your love.
A big thanks to Mom, Emily, Kristina, and Michelle for hosting such a wonderful and creative Bridal Shower. The western theme was an adorable idea and the decorations were so memorable!
