Life in 2011 "Through a Lens"

A Whirlwind Trip

Just a little note about our travels in March .... We were fortunate enough to have a couple weeks vacation while living in Germany that allowed us to visit Ireland, Russia, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. It was such a wonderful time for Chad and me to learn more about and deepen our relationship with each other as well as improve upon our faith walk together. We were very blessed to have a chance to see all that we did. We are thankful to each and every one of you that prayed for us on this journey, your prayers were heard. There were some situations that proved to be challenging but the Lord was ever so present. The power of prayer is amazing! Besides this opportunity to see the Lord's great masterpieces through landscape and scenery, it was filled with astonishing architecture throughout. The churches in particular were gorgeous and breathtaking. We visited 8 countries in 2 weeks, along with the other 3 countries we had previously visited on our "German sabbaticals." The biggest lesson we learned (other than we are way to old and fragile to carry 38lb backpacks around all day!!) outside of our love growing stronger for each other each day and our strengths and weaknesses we possess, is that we are so blessed. Thank you Lord for this opportunity to spend time with my best friend in some of your most amazing homes. Thank you for humbling us to Your word and for your constant guidance and support to be better disciples. Help us continue to serve you in all the we do, both in word and in deed. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite pictures below.  You can also see more pictures if you scroll down to Travel 2011. - Colette
